Where do you work/what is your organization name?

Urban Ark Conservation

How long have you/your organization raised Arapawas?

We’ve been raising these goats since 2018

Why did you start raising Arapawas?

We started UAC for the purpose of conservation back in 2016. Nothing in our mission statement had said anything about goats, livestock, or farming… we never farmed before, but once we discovered Arapawa, we fell in love. We essentially shifted the mission of our organization around them.

What is your favorite Arapawa coat color/pattern?

We are huge fans of the lighter color/white coats with dark contrasting markings.

What are you most excited for with the future of Arapawas?

We are excited to see this community of conservationists growing, literally before our eyes. It is quite an honor to part of such a small knit community driven by their love for these goats.
