Goats on the Move

We are excited to announce our breed is now being represented at the Tulsa Zoo in Oklahoma! With the addition of 4 bucklings to their contact yards, more people are now able to interact with the breed and learn about them and their place on a farm. Zoos can play an important key role in conservation efforts and education. They can bring in people from all across the nation, and opening these animals to contact yards and close interactions builds bonds you can't always get from reading about them. Evidence supports people tend to care more when something seems real, when they can form a connection with something that sticks with them.

We are happy to see these additions and hope to see further expansions not only with zoos, but more farms for the breed across the country. And to Tulsa Zoo, thank you, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we all do!!
