Behind The Scenes

The AGBA Board would like to introduce one of our behind the scenes helpers:

Hi! I'm Kaede, owner behind The Citrus Dragon. I started my journey with Arapawas in 2024, but my overall love for animals started when I was little. At 17 I got my first leopard gecko, and now I own what I call my mini zoo with all sorts of reptiles, a bird, fish, my dogs and cats, my goats, and a horse! My passion for conservation overlaps my joy of creation, as I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. It's a skill I hope to use to aid in education and awareness of the breed!

I've been lucky to be able to aid not only in breeding with my own herd, but I'm what I call a Webmaster Apprentice. You might have seen my name pop up here and there on the website. That's because I help to keep it up to date on Classifieds and Member pages, help in responding to our forums and emails, and I get the joy of writing and uploading blog posts surrounding goats, our breed, and our members! I might have some t-shirt designs in the work as well, you'll have to wait and see.

It's a joy to be able to be part of such a community and to be able to help around with some of the finer details behind just the animals themselves. I'm excited to continue with this journey and even more so to see how much it will grow!
